Welcome to WiSTEm's EmpowHER Summit

 Women in STEM at ASU are proud to announce our first ever EmpowHER Summit, “A Dialogue on STEM Innovation & Advancement" on April 5th, 1:30-6:30 p.m.- a pioneering event designed to inspire, engage, and empower women and all gender minorities in the fields of STEM. This event will allow women and gender minorities of all STEM disciplines at ASU to share their work with each other in a professional cross-disciplinary setting. The summit pairs a concurrent poster session for undergraduate women to display their internships or research experiences with multiple panel discussions that will touch on key themes, i.e. research, post-graduate careers, industry, science communication and advocacy.

Why should YOU attend?

• Attend panels promoting Research, Industry jobs and advocacy in STEM
• Hear from successful CEOs, NASA administrators, Professors, and PHD students, like Pandora Bio CEO & Founder Dr. Tara Maddala or former NASA Deputy Administrator Ms. Lori Garver. 
• See peers’ work in an Interdisciplinary Poster session showcasing their research or internship work. Not just that, YOU can also sign up to present your research or internship work at the event!
