InnovatHERS

 We visit multiple local schools for about an hour where we Arizona youth in K-12 grade levels to build a community and connection between the university students and local school children. Our hope is to spread awareness of the value for STEM and inspire students to visualize the various careers they can pursue after meeting with members of our organization.

 It is part of our mission to promote inclusive and equitable educational opportunities through scientific communication and exposure while also expanding our reach and impact beyond the university. The exposure component is advanced through our live demonstrations of easily replicable experiments, as seen below! 

We educate youth about the diversity of disciplines in STEM, and hopefully get them excited to learn more about STEM throughout their education (or perhaps pursue higher education). Our innovative program and experiential learning opportunities provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
